In Carcavelos, at Estrada da Rebelva, n.º 1258, Loja A/B, 2775-371 Carcavelos. All the work is done here, in Portugal.
Can I drop off the device at the laboratory?
Yes, Monday to Friday, except public holidays, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00. Fill in the online request first, so that the device is booked in straight away with your request number.
What is the ISO 5 cleanroom?
A room with filtered air and controlled particles (Class 100). A hard drive is only opened here, to replace the heads without contaminating the platters where the data is stored.
What if my drive needs parts?
We have more than 10,000 parts in stock, and donor parts are chosen by the model and the version of the drive. When there is no compatible one in stock, we look for a donor. The cost of the parts is included in the final quote.
Is my data safe in the laboratory?
The laboratory is certified to ISO 27001:2022 for information security, audited every year. The devices and the data stay in the laboratory, and the copy of the recovered data is deleted 7 days after delivery.
